Quintessential blue jeans made with ring-ring indigo denim from Cone Mills. Just like all of our 5-pockets, the shape riffs on two other longtime favorites: think Levi's 501®s with more taper, APC New Standards with more room in the rise, and slimmer than both from the knee down. They're made in Los Angeles with blue oxford pocketing, a button fly, brass rivets, chain-stitched hems, and clean, unbranded back pockets. These aren't raw — although we make a pair that is — but they'll soften up and fade over time. So don't be put off by the initial stiffness. And especially if you can hold off on washing them for awhile, they'll wear in and become as unique to you as your fingerprints.

TRUE BLUE
With any true indigo fabric, there’s a risk of color transfer, where a little blue makes its way to light-colored fabrics or your skin. This is called crocking, and it usually comes out in the washing machine or the shower, respectively! Inherent to natural indigo dye, it’s part of what makes those garments fade so beautifully. Still, for the first few wears, we recommend laundering separately and staying away from light-colored upholstery.
